Dr. Lu specializes in the application of microeconomics, econometrics, and statistical methods to complex litigation matters. She has conducted analyses of antitrust and competition issues across a range of industries, including health care and consumer products. In merger investigations, Dr. Lu has supported experts for the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in analyses of proposed mergers in the health care and consumer finance industries. She has also supported experts on issues related to intellectual property and commercial litigation in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, and telecommunications. Dr. Lu’s research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, including the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics and the American Journal of Health Economics.
