Summary of Experience
Mr. Spittle applies his expertise in data analysis, economic modeling, and data science to consulting engagements across a range of industries, including computer software and technology, energy, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), pharmaceuticals, and health insurance. He has led teams analyzing large datasets, developing novel tools and software for data analysis, reviewing source code for potential patent and copyright infringement, reviewing research methodologies, and modeling the dynamics of markets. One such model was an energy market simulation model used to examine potential economic impact of new products and pricing. Mr. Spittle has also developed several custom data collection and management tools, including real-world data (RWD) collection in a health clinic. In other health care engagements, he has executed numerous budget-impact, cost-effectiveness, and harm-reduction models, which he has presented at conferences worldwide. His work on opioid misuse has spanned the creation of suspicious order monitoring (SOM) algorithms and the publication of articles on harm-reduction models and cost assessments of opioid misuse. Mr. Spittle has also consulted pro bono on several health care analytics projects in Haiti.
